I went to the annual pottery fair last year and spent far too much money on these Duncan Crystal Glazes and the worst part of this story is that I have made this mistake before. So I came up with a devious plan. I thought it would be a very clever thing to only take a certain amount of cash money in with me, and that would be all I spend.
What ACTUALLY happened was I started foaming at the mouth at the shop selling all these magnificent glazes and rushed back to my car to get more money and spent triple what I thought I would. Bad bad Juniper.
But the end result is that I have been making a whole collection of bowls with my trademark brick-built style on the outside and beautiful galaxies of colour on the inside. Or the inside AND outside. They are chaotic and surprising and completely unpredictable, which makes me very happy.
