I won this job for the Toyota 86 – a beautiful vehicle – partially because of my cool idea for the title treatment at the end. Watch it and then read on.
It was a tiny budget and we could only afford two walls. We had to practice the stunt with giant pieces of paper stretched over the hanger door, until we were brave enough to replace the paper with precious wall #1. Luckily we got two beautiful takes.
We shot the footage with an Alexa, a 5D, a 7d, and a fistful of Drift action camera and Go Pros. How cool? I still love this ad so much.
